Bailey Gibson. Baily Gibson, a 23-year-old member of the famed Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel in Reno, Nevada, is the latest to make the headlines for her virginity auction. The reason? She’s offering proof she’s a virgin: a signed certification from her physician.

Proof. Bailey’s physician has reportedly given her a physical examination and signed paperwork stating her hymen is intact. The certification came after members had been claiming they did not believe she had “never been touched by a man” in the past.

Certificate of Proof. “This document, signed by my doctor, is proof of my authenticity. I challenge every other so-called virgin to show evidence of their purity as well,” Bailey wrote in a Twitter post on Valentine’s Day. Her post was done in response to the hundreds of comments claiming she was not as pure as she had claimed.

Background. According to online reports, Bailey is from a small town in Wisconsin and is planning to offer herself to the highest bidder. She claims to be the Catholic school girl fantasy, having graduated from an “all-girls Christian academy” in her hometown according to Daily Star.

Real Deal. Despite the haters, Bailey has sworn she is the real deal and is hoping her certification will garner higher bids. News sources have reported other women who have generated millions of dollars in their online auctions selling their virginity and Bailey hopes to do the same.
Current Bid. Currently, the auction for Bailey is up to $200,000, but she is holding out for much bigger bids. According to Daily Star, Bailey believes she should be able to generate a bid of $10 million with her certification proving her virginity prior to the sale.

Hoping for More. “I want $10 million. I’m selling something that I can only sell once, and it is the most intimate of all the things you could put a price on,” Bailey said on her social media accounts. With current bids at $200,000, she has a way to go to reach her goal.

The Debate. Others have debated the concept of selling virginity in an auction or on any platform. Many claim it is plain “disgusting” behavior, while others have said it’s “sad” to see women offering themselves up to sex trafficking practices. It’s been called everything from “glorified prostitution” to “voluntary sex trafficking.”

The Other Side. On the flip side, others have jumped to the defense of those who have chosen to auction their bodies. “I don’t think it is a good idea for a girl to drink six tequilas and lose her virginity on the bathroom floor in a frat house. If she wants to sell it, I think that’s great,” brothel owner, Dennis Hof said in a related article.

The Price. According to online reports, whatever final bid is accepted by Bailey will garner a 50% commission for the brothel hosting the auction. Feeding the comments regarding the “glorified prostitution,” most have said the auction fee is nothing short of a pimp’s share.

Self Worth. Bailey says she believes the auction is an amazing opportunity to prove her own self-worth. “I’m worth it and the man I lose my purity to will be someone who understands the true value of my untouched womanliness,” Bailey wrote on her Twitter account.

Conditions. The auctions are not forced or enforced in any way. If the auction reaches the end date and did not generate an amount Bailey is comfortable with or a winner she feels is worthy, she has the option to cancel the auction on her own accord.

End Date. Auctioners have ample time to continue their bids. The official end date for the auction is slated for September 15, 2018. At that time, the winning bidder will be announced and the meeting planned. Bailey is hoping her auction will generate a much higher bidding attention like others before her.

Record Auction. In fact, Bailey is banking on her certificate of authenticity helping her to bring in a record-breaking auction. The previous high bid auction was fellow brothel mate, Giselle who was auctioned off for $3.9 million just months before.

Birthday Celebration. The winning bidder of Bailey’s auction will meet her at a birthday celebration for the brothel’s owner on October 13th. So far though, she hasn’t garnered as much attention as hoped. One commenter stated, “I’ll give her $1.50, but I need change though.”
